Quetta—Five students were killed and over thirty injured today when a bomb exploded near the bus belonging to IT University carrying students of Mariabad to the old campus in Samungli area.
Some of them are stated to be in critical condition in various hospitals.
The law enforcing agencies responsible for the maintenance of law and order are either helpless or lack will to implement the directives of the Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani.
The administration of IT University Balochistan will observe three day mourning and no class will be taken during this period. The situation in the city is grim and the angry students shouted anti government slogans.
Terrorists have escalated their activities and the focus is Quetta city. The government has, however, beefed up the security and police have redoubled their efforts to check gruesome incidents.
