Muharram: Banned Ulema in Sialkot

The district administration has banned the entry of as many as 22 Ulema into Sialkot district during the month of Muharram. These Ulema are belonged to different schools of thought.
Newly-appointed Sialkot DPO Syed Ali Mohsin Naqvi told the newsmen that the Ulema whose entry had been banned are: Qari Abdul Qadeer Khamosh (Lahore), Maulana Abdullah Nisar, Maulana Abdul Rasheed (Gujranwala), Maulana Irfan Haider Abid, Maulana Atta Ullah Bundiyalavi, Maulana Ziaul Haq (Sargodha), Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi (Toba Tek Singh-former president defunct Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan), Maulana Muhammad Yahiya Mohsin (Sankhatra-Narowal), Qari Kafayat Ullah (Dinga-Gujrat), Maulana Saeed Ahmed Multani, Maulana Ghulam Ahmed (Kabirwala-Khanewal), Maulana Abdul Sattar (Tuansa Sharif), Maulana Abdul Karim (Jhang), Maulana Abdul Hamid Nadeem (Multan), Taj Din Haidari (Rahwali-Gujranwala), Qari Manzoor Hussain (Sohdara), Riaz Hussain Haidari (Inspector police Gujranwala), Qazi Mazhar Hussain Hashmi (Chakwal), Maulana Gulfam Hussain Hashmi, Maulana Syed Muhammad Taqi (Multan), Prof Abdul Hakim (Hyderabad-Sindh) and Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi (President Millat Jaffariya Pakistan).
The DPO further said that gagging orders had also been issued for eight Ulema including Ehsan Ullah Farooqi, Hafiz Muhammad Saleh, Qari Muhammad Akram, Maulana Abu Khan Usmani, Maulana Muhammad Afzal, Ejaz Hussain, Zulfiqar Ali Gohar and Ali Nasirul Hussaini. He said these Ulema would be unable to deliver speeches in district during the month of Muharram.
He said that as many as 48 places had been declared sensitive in Sialkot district’s all four Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils.
