Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the educated youths will bring about a glorious future for Pakistan. He said that we along with the talented students participating in “today’s youths—tomorrow’s leaders conference” will make Pakistan as envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal and bring a new system by changing the obsolete system and if we make firm determination, we will definitely achieve our destination.
He was addressing the concluding session of a conference held on the topic of “today’s youths—tomorrow’s leaders” at Government House Murree, today. Member National Assembly Ahsan Iqbal, female student of King Edward Medical College Sundas Rafique, a student of Government College University Lahore Muzammil Khalid and a tiny student of Daanish School Chishtian Inamullah also addressed the conference.
Addressing the conference, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the purpose of holding this conference in Government House Murree was to gather talented male and female students in that place where British Queen, viceroy and after creation of Pakistan, Presidents, Prime Ministers, international leaders and senior government officials stayed. He said that some of the political personalities and guests deserved to stay in this building of Government House Murree but some of those were dishonest and corrupt who looted the resources of the country ruthlessly. The Chief Minister opined that today’s talented and educated youths rightly deserve for staying there who are rich in the wealth of knowledge and no dishonest and corrupt can loot the wealth of knowledge. Shahbaz Sharif said that he is deeply impressed with the speech of tiny student Inamullah of Daanish School Chishtian who narrated the history of our country and no one from Peshawar to Karachi could not help move by his speech. He said that we achieved this country by rendering thousands of sacrifices and if we glanced over the past 64 years history, we found that billions of trillions rupees of the country were looted. He also expressed his gratitude to the teachers of Daanish Schools who are polishing such hundreds talented students as Inamullah in these schools. He said that Punjab government has given top priority to education sector and is taking all possible steps for promotion of quality education.
Provincial Minister for Education Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Members National and Provincial Assembly, Senators, educationists, position holders and a large number of male and female students were present on the occasion.
