After failing to find more great white sharks on Sunday morning, Nauset Beach in Orleans was reopened, according to our ABC affiliate WCVB.
On Saturday the beach was closed to swimmers because a great white shark was spotted near the shore.
The shark’s dorsal fin was popping out of the water and seen by beach-goers. The shark was between 12 to 14-feet long.
In the past couple of weeks, three great whites were seen off of Chatham. Authorities say people should stay 300 feet away from any seals because sharks feed on them.
