Justin Verlander might have been knocked around some in Tuesday's All-Star game but, he seems to be winning the game of life.
The Detroit Tigers' pitcher has been sighted with reigning Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model Kate Upton in recent days around Detroit, fueling breathless speculation that the two are dating.
CBS Detroit said the pair have been seen at least one area bar, and Upton was recently sighted in a private box at a Detroit Tigers' game.
This has to be true. Odds are overwhelming that a single woman hanging around Detroit spotted in a Detroit Tigers luxury box is dating Verlander.
Actually, it seems Upton is a Michigan native and the pair has appeared in a commercial together.
Verlander and Upton were seen with Verlander's friend Frank Viola Jr. (son of former Cy Young winner Frank Viola) and Upton pal Lizzie Glynn.
The quartet allegedly were seen in a Detroit-area drinking establishment believed to be owned by Toby Keith.
